Rooftop Receives Second Flood Relief Grant
The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee has recently awarded a second grant from the Metro Nashville Disaster Fund to Rooftop for rent and mortgage assistance for flood victims. Rooftop was pleased to receive $57,000 to continue its work with those who are in transitional housing following the loss of their homes. Persons needing these funds should contact one of the member congregations in order to receive a referral.
Rooftop Receives Grant for Flood Relief Assistance
The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee has awarded Rooftop Foundation a $20,000 gift for the purpose of providing rental/mortgage assistance to Davidson County individuals and families affected by the May 2010 Flood. The gift has been provided by the Metro Disaster Response Fund of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Funding is available for Rent/Utilities/Deposits. To apply for assistance for these special grants persons should contact member congregations for a referral.
Kelly Raglin Named Executive Director of Rooftop
Rooftop continues to grow, and with that growth comes the need for additional staff. With the assistance of several organizations, Rooftop is now able to grow by hiring a part-time Executive Director to oversee operations and fundraising. After a thorough search, we are pleased to announce that Kelly Raglin was selected to be our first Executive Director.
